Pandemic Shakes Up Plans

It was certainly proven that the old English proverb March comes in like a lion... is accurate, as Spring Break was abruptly cut short. All faculty were given 10 days to learn software, redevelop classes to deliver 100% online and re-engineer the remainder of the semester. For me, that entailed transitioning courses for 150 students and devising a way to turn in-person interactive experiences into virtual ones. One of my strong industry partners is iProspect, a leading digital agency whose SEO / SEM leaders I invite to the classroom as guest speakers. Thankfully, they were up for the task of sharing their knowledge via Zoom, our new classroom. I still prefer in-person experiences, but was grateful to be able to keep the learning from frontline industry in place.
