Wende Zomnir, a 1989 UNT graduate and co-founder of Urban Decay Cosmetics and one of the cosmetic industry disruptors, was back on campus this week, sharing her career journey and meeting over lunch and at a roundtable with some of our Digital Retailing and Consumer Experience Management majors. Zomnir encouraged students to be bold, creative and find work they love. When asked about the work culture she's built at Urban Decay, she said they make sure the environment is a creative office with a strict “dogs-allowed” policy and “self-expression-a-must” dress codes.
