NRFSA Members Take a Field Trip to Reformation for Fall Meeting

UNT National Retail Federation faculty advisor Linda Mihalick

As the Faculty Advisor for our campus student organization National Retail Federation Student Association, I typically line up our speakers and field trips to expand our students' knowledge of the insdustry. For our meeting yesterday evening, we took a field trip to Reformation, a Los Angeles based retail start-up that has a design mission to make effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure. The design process starts as they think about what customers want to wear and then fabrics are sourced with sustainable fabrics where possible.

Student's who joined in on the trip were given demonstrations of how technology is integrated into the shopping and fitting room experience as well as a tour of the inventory back room.
