The Global Digital Retailing Research Center develops and puts on two annual events promoting the important current dialog around digital retailing and consumer experience, and how we are contributing to the agenda for industry.  Yesterday we were pleased to host our keynote speakers Ruth Crowley, Lee Summers and Mason Page on campus for our 14th annual Consumer Experience Symposium, which was titled ‘Consumer Insights & Experiential Impacts: Leveraging Technology & Human Factors to Create Optimal Customer Experiences’.

Nearly 400 industry supporters, students, faculty and UNT administrative leaders attended the event where these industry experts discussed the challenges faced by the retail and hospitality industries as they work to leverage and synthesize technology and human factors do drive results, creating optimum customer experiences.

The presentations and discussions focused on digital strategies using technology and data analytics to inform decision-making. Ruth Crowley’s  background includes VP of Customer Experience Design at Lowe’s.  Lee Summers, is CEO, and Mason Page, is EVP of Strategic Business Planning, both from Reflect Systems.
